The First Trust Executive Seminar 2014 Was Successfully Held

From 5th to 10th June, 2014, the first trust executive seminar jointly held by CTA and Tsinghua University Law School was successfully held in Tsinghua University. Mr. Yu Lingyun, Vice Dean of Tsinghua University Law School, Ms. Wang Lijuan, Full-time Vice Chairman of CTA and Ms. Chen Yanmei, Secretary General of CTA attended its opening ceremony. 54 executives from 39 trust companies participated in the seminar.

Mr. Yu welcomed all participants at the opening ceremony. The program consist of serious of executive seminar is one of the major projects for the training center of Tsinghua University Law School and won an award as the Outstanding Project of Tsinghua University. It is the third award of Law School issued by Tsinghua University since its establishment. The program not only introduces research achievements and latest trends to trust executives by gathering together research resources, but also help Tsinghua University achieved disciplinary development and team building by learning ideas and information from trust executives. Finally, Mr. Yu introduced the development history of Law School.

Ms. Wang made a brief speech at the opening ceremony. The platform built by CTA and Tsinghua University aims to fulfill the development need for trust sector given it couldn't grow without legal support. She emphasized that trust market has been facing multiple pressure along with its development. How far the sector can finally go is determined by the strategic prospect and ability of trust executive in the long run. Several attempts CTA had made trying to build platform for learning and communication in recent years gained comprehensive supports from trust community and obtained satisfactory results. Finally, Ms. Wang suggested all participants temporarily take a break from daily heavy workload to suffice time need for study and communication.

Participants spoke highly of the curriculum and faculties. Evaluation for this session is in process at present.
