‍‍CTA held a study meeting on Trust Law's amendment on June 4th, 2014 aiming to further promoting legislative work of Trust Law and further clarifying its direction and contents, and at the same time learning experiences from advanced foreign jurisdictions. Over 30 leaders and experts from national legislative offices, judicial offices, related Ministries, research institutes in and abroad and trust companies were invited to attend the meeting.‍‍

‍‍The meeting was presided over by Ms. Wang Lijuan. Mr. Min Luhao, Vice Inspector of CBRC attended it and described the long-term significance of the study on Trust Law’s amendment. Ms. Wang Lijuan introduced some work finished for the amendment. Senior consultant Mr. Paul from Withers, Head of Legal Department Mr. Tianzhong Heming from Mitsui Trust Bank Limited by Share Ltd Sumitomo and Vice President Mr. Li Zhiren from Taiwan Jiepeng International Financial Service Group delivered speeches of their own jurisdictions experiences on trust law's legislation and development and separately provided reasonable advices for our Trust Law’s amendment. Experts and representatives then fully discussed the topics and presented concrete suggestions.‍‍

‍‍As another important action for carrying out study work of Trust Law’s amendment since the completion of Subject Study Report on Trust Law’s amendment, the meeting provides a solid foundation for promoting legislative proceed of Trust Law's amendment.‍‍
