CTA held the Seventh Session of its third Executive Council in Beijing on March 30^th. A couple of work initiatives including the Review of CTA’s Work in 2014, the Plan for CTA‘s Work in 2015, the Implementation of CTA’s Financial Budget in 2014 and the Report on CTA‘s Financial Budget in 2015, as well as a revised list of members of CTA Research Leadering Group were reviewed and approved. CTA’s Secreariat was instructed to press ahead the accomplishment of the targets set forth in those initiatives.

On the same day, a theme salon took place at CTA. Topics such as advancing the implementation of “Eight Liabilities” for Trust Industry, stepping up the change of trust industry and pushing forward the work relevant to the Trust Protection Fund were discussed by participants. Besides, advices and suggestions on how to reinforce the effectiveness of supervisory policies in keeping with the financial conditions in China, to intensify efforts to increase the strength and extent of media coverage for trust industry, to gather together resources from the entire industry so as to build up a basic network platform were raised by representatives from trust companies to the regulatory departments and the CTA.

In addition, the First Session of the First China Trust Protection Fund Council was held on that day; Rules of Procedure for the China Trust Protection Fund Council was approved.
