Hosted by CTA, a seminar on setting standard for the green trust was held in Beijing on October 25th, 2018. Leaders from regulatory organizations were invited to give guidance to participants, which include representatives from 8 trust companies. This seminar was presided over by Mr. Zheng Fang, the Vice Secretary General of CTA.

During the seminar, Mr. Qi Jianming, the Executive Vice President of CTA, indicated that guiding trust companies to carry out green trust businesses and help with pollution control is one of the steps CTA take to take part in the "Three Tough Battles". As a self-regulatory organization, CTA will intensify efforts to carry out research on green trust and establish standards for green  trust practices, with the purpose of leading more trust companies to develop green trust businesses efficiently and effectively. In the meantime, CTA will further advance training and publicity work to promote the concept of green trust penetrating into trust companies’ corporate governance and culture construction.

Leader of Regulatory Commission believes that the essence of finance is to serve the real economy. The trust industry must integrate social responsibilities into its commercial nature, strengthening control environment and social risk, so as to achieve the sustainable development of green trust.
